Just Me.
Raised in Sucker Garden by immigrant parents who came to the island for a better life, I learned to worked hard and invested in our Island as they did, to built a better and more prosperous future for our families.
I received the opportunity to be educated both in Sint. Maarten and in Florida, where I acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. After completing my studies, I returned to Sint. Maarten in 2015 and pursued my career in politics.
My goal is to continue to mentor the young adults by motivation and encouragement so they know that, with consistency, dedication and hard work, all things are possible.
As a single mother of two boys, I strive to promote and mentor both my children and those of the community, passing along the same same support, guidance, love and determination that my parents provided for myself.
My Core Values
My Vision is a Country in which Government, politics, business, civil society and the daily lives of people, are free of corruption. In an island community, preparing our generations to come, enforcing the weak or needy and empowering our people.

Experience
Once returning from my studies, I was extremely fortunate to secure professional positions which have seasoned and educated me in various key roles and aspects of our island and economy.
From my tourism and cargo knowledge gathered from Maduro & Sons, to my civil and Government experience learned while working 6 years in parliament and finance, the past 15 years have shaped me into the informed Politicians of today.
I am humbled by the extensive exposure and works that I have done and received, under the wings of MP Wescott Williams over the years, mastering the arts of grace, determination, vision and integrity, which I am dedicated to maintaining and flourishing.
Fueled by my passion to SERVE, I have contributed 12 years of service in community works, associations and foundations
where I will continue to mentor the young adults by motivation and encouragement so they know that with consistency and hard work all things are possible.

We as a nation, need to rediscover one of the founding principles that will serve us and many generations to come, we can’t just wait around for progressive change.
The time has come for us to fight and stand-UP for our country, our children, our rights as Sint Maartener’s, both born here or born to be here.
I have, and continue to actively dedicate to the community, loving our children and their parents to help parents raise our next generations, helping young people and adults get the education and training they need, for a safer tomorrow.
I am and have been, committed to this process. Join me on this movement of dedication and serving to make a difference.

My campaign is fighting for a set of policies that will reshape our economy, minimize inequality and create new opportunities and solutions to empower our people to excel in their daily lives.
We will help in building a bridge for a better future, to meet our challenges and create solutions which protect our core values.
We are going to break the cycle of poverty and dependence and protect our environment for generations to come.

3. Welfare Benefits for Single Parents
As a young student, you should be eligible for student financing if you are taking care of a child in addition to completing your study program. This will be called the single parent allowance.
Young singles parents , will also be entitled to a monthly allowance per child, as models from some of our fellow countries.
Families are the indication of our future. Enabling strong households built on faith, love, education and guidance is key. Providing assistance for homes, can make the difference of eating that day, or a caregiving to watch children while a parent is working, or to pay for afternoon classes or activities. Whichever the reason, the assistance is directly invested in our future and our communities.

4. Medicaid
Medicaid is a Government Healthcare Assistance Program in the States that help single mothers ensure that their families are covered for medical and dental care services, regardless of their ability to pay for these services.
Certain requirements such as; work scenario and family size do apply in order for benefits to be granted.
As someone whom has benefited from this program, I am moved to further explore the possibilities and technicalities involved, to hopefully present a comparable program, adapted for our community.

4. Youth Development Program
Through a Positive Mentorship Program with a broad approach that aims to build the competencies, skills and abilities of the youth empowering them to grow and flourish throughout life.
PYD is a philosophy and an approach to adolescent development encompassing education, mentorship, motivation and caring.
The foundation of this philosophy works on building mutually beneficial relationships between youth and their families, peer groups, schools, workplaces, communities, other government institutions, society, and culture to provide opportunities to enhance their knowledge, interests, skills, and abilities.

5. Seniors Welfare Benefits
Living on a fixed income can be hard, as the cost of living goes up but your income does not. My goal is to implement a service where Older adults must have access to quality Health Care Services that meet their needs including:
Affordable home and community-based services
Dental, hearing, and vision care.
Mental health services.
Family caregiver support.
